Integral Systems Europe S.A.S signed a Network Operations and Satellite Payload Monitoring Centre (NOC) contract wth Es’hailSat (Qatar Satellite Company) during the World Satellite Business Week event in Paris, France. On hand for the signing of the NOC contract were the heads of the two companies: Mr. Ali Al Kuwari, Es’hailSat’s CEO, and Mr. Bruno Dupas, President of ISE.
ISE is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. Its Labege, France integration facility will be designing, building, and testing the NOC system. Once the NOC system has been completed and cleared, ISE will ship it to Doha, Qatar and install it on behalf of Es’hailSat.
The ISE-built NOC will manage access to Es’HailSat’s planned satellite fleet. The Center’ state-of-the-art technologies will automatically detect, troubleshoot, and resolve problems. Es’HailSat’s satellite-transmitted TV channels, business services, and other data/voice streams will be monitored by experienced engineers on a 24/7 basis to ensure the coordination, delivery, and guarantee of high-quality satellite communications services.
The contract for a high-tech operations Centre further advances Es’HailSat’s satellite program. Es’hail 1 is already being built; Qatar’s first satellite is scheduled for launch in the second quarter of 2013.
Es’hailSat has two goals: To bring high-quality, independent satellite services to communications companies throughout the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region, and to provide part of the advanced communications infrastructure Qatar is preparing for its role as the host of the 2022 FIFA’s World Cup.
